What to look for in the third trimester?
So finally the clock is ticking to bring the gift of nature; your baby! This is the third trimester from the 28th week to the 40th week or till the time of delivery. There are some general changes that occur in your body during this trimester:
-There is an exponential weight gain.
-The Head of the baby descends into the pelvis.
-There is an all-around development of the baby.
-Active movements of the baby.
-It’s a tough phase as a mother because a lot of action is going inside.
-Every part of your body is preparing for D-day!
-Less urination control; even during a laugh or sneeze you may feel like urinating.
-Emotional changes before delivery.
-You might be little fearful about
It’s important to understand the third trimester as this will include child birth. You can also adopt some natural ways to induce labor if your delivery is beyond 37 weeks.
The don’t and do’s
Do’s during 3rd trimester
- Eat food rich in calcium
- Connect with your health provider regularly
- Count foetal movements as they tells about the health of baby
- Be active during the day
- Have a good night’s sleep; take advice from your gynaecologist
Don’t during 3rd trimester
- Make sure there is no bleeding
- Irregular visit to gynaecologist
- Not seeking help from people specially emotionally
- Lack of awareness regarding the delivery day
